Over the years I've had our family photos displayed in different places. They've been on shelves, sideboards, buffets, mantle, hearth, you name it. Sweet but boring. I've been wanting to do something different with them for a while now.
Today a branch, some hemp rope and a leafy spray came to the rescue.
The branch:
It used to be a fake ficus tree trunk. I stripped the leaves off. Easy to do. They pull right out.
I tied hemp rope to the branch as a hanger.
The pictures:
I snatched a few of my fave family photos off a shelf. Using hemp rope, I tied the picture frames criss cross style, like I was wrapping ribbon around a box. And tied them to the branch using a slip knot.
Hang the frames a little bit crooked. Aren't those kids cute? You'll never guess who their nana is...
I had the decorate spray going un-noticed in another part of the house. So I topped off my creation with it.
